Act 2 Scene 6

Scene six is about the Zoot Suit riots and its very straight forward... The crazy thing about all of this is that people were so racist and the press were fueling the fire under already tensions between Mexicans and White people. I liked his scene although it was rather short.

" You savages weren't even wearing clothes when the white man pulled you out of the jungle."- Press...pg80
The press speaks for all the racist people as a whole. By saying this, it automatically allow the reader to make inferences on how they saw the Mexican culture. This was very important because it is the prime reason the whole 38th street gang is in jail. Everyone is against them!

  1. Hi Davion! Don't forget to ask questions in your blog postings for each scene -- even if you don't have any you can't answer, try to think of it as writing "thought/discussion-provoking" questions.

Add another blog if you need to write questions for all the scenes.
